When on the conscious journey we realizie how we may have inadvertently hurt or harmed others in our lower states of consciousness and unawareness.
This is not about the obvious cases where we know that we are hurting or harming another, but we still do it because the altered ego demands it, we are under its grip and it gives us temporary satisfaction. Something like – you hurt me so I’m going to deliver the same to you.
Admittedly low consciousness.
This article is about deeper realizations that emerge as we delve deeper, understand clearer and are finally moving out of those lower states of consciousness into deeper states of empathy and compassion.
It is the empathy and deeper insights that are like a bucket of cold water thrown over us. There follows the regret, guilt, remorse. It takes several of Julius’ teachings to finally move into forgiveness of self and beyond.
But all is not lost, even as we work our way thru. The mere fact that we erred in times of lesser wisdom gives us the somewhat erratic but generally available gift of not judging others, perspectives, thoughts.
And non-judgment is the name of the game!
