(An intention) by Ochune
I’m leaving
The arid deserts of fear,
Strewn with carcasses of perceived failures.
Amid the heavy sands of judgment.
I’m leaving
The shadows of deeply held trauma
And previously unhealed wounds of loss.
I’m leaving
The creases of dividing separation,
The intricate folds of limitation and programs.
I’m leaving
So I can thrive
Ride the exhilarating winds of freedom
Crest the ripples of widening expansion and joy
Be the luminosity of the soul!
I’m leaving
Not because I reject all that I am and have been
But because I long to plumb the depths of
Magical caverns of higher truths
Embody the unity I sense
Somewhere within reach.
